Michelle McCollum
Founder + CEO
With over 30 years of experience, Michelle McCollum brings expertise in strategic planning, external relations, organizational transformation and change management, alongside a distinguished track record in facilities leadership and capital development.
Most recently, Michelle served as Vice-President, Facilities and Sustainability at George Brown College, where she was responsible for the college’s physical infrastructure and sustainability strategy. In this role, she led institution-wide master planning, lifecycle asset management, real estate development, and climate action. She played a pivotal role in the creation of Limberlost Place, Ontario’s first ten-storey institutional mass timber building, exemplifying innovation in low-carbon, high-performance design.
At Sheridan College, Michelle was Associate Vice-President, Facilities and Sustainable Infrastructure, where she led the transformation of the college’s built environment. Her work spanned sustainability strategy, capital planning, and operational modernization. She also drove change initiatives that aligned infrastructure decisions with evolving academic models and fiscal realities.
Michelle’s career began in the UK, followed by senior roles at the City of Brampton, where she led major capital initiatives, city-wide strategic planning, and organizational transformation programs. Throughout her career, she has developed a reputation as a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who builds trusted relationships across sectors and champions long-term value creation.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from Napier University and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, both in Edinburgh. Michelle is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
